Roger Greene has been a mathematics teacher by profession.
He has painted for pleasure for as long as he can remember, stimulated
by seeing work in the Summer Exhibition of the Royal Academy and
elsewhere and by meeting some of the artists and collecting their
work. He has found inspiration for much of his own work in places
where he has been on holiday, completing some paintings on the
spot and others in the studio, based on notes, sketches and other
material. His work features in a number of private collections.
He is prepared to undertake commisions.
Here is Roger in the walled garden of his Victorian house with
a selection of his paintings.
